NJSP Lingo

Recently I've heard these two abbreviations and can't seem to understand them.

CIC?

and

CVI?

They seem to say them then give their location or where they are headed.

CIC stands for 'Critical Infrastructure Check' - mostly done by the marine bureau units checking the underside of bridges & the like.

CVI - you got me with that one!
