yesterday i was listening to the njsp troop c system in id search on a bc396xt. something i rarely do.
i have a 2 part question.

1. what does a double talkgroup id mean. i.e. 59667 59822 . this is exactly how it came up on the screen.
the talkgroup's in the example are not the actual talkgroup's.

2. i listen to the remu <radio maintenance unit> in digital, so that i can hear how well digital sound's on the system. on that talkgroup there was some type of radio roll call. 1 station i.d.'d as lambertville. he gave a river depth report. what are those unit's.

thank's for any help. i have a feeling highpockets will have the answer's.

I believe question 1 is: It may be a patch, I think that is the way Unidens show it.

Question 2: ? (guess marine units) but I'll watch this thread and see if someone knows for sure. :)

HighPockets is correct. NJSP does patch TG's such as the Marine Police. I had the same issue.

The only way to stop it to to program the TGID in your scanner so only 1 is displayed.
