NJSP Troop B Trunked New Freq OTA CH13

Radio techs brought CH13 853.5125 into the B trunked system this afternoon.

It has been in place for a while, but apparently the Central Site Controller has had it disabled.

I am uncertain if they will leave it on as they do not have the audio recorder set
up for this channel. This will happen soon.

If you wish, leave the freq in your conventional bank and you will hear when it becomes active.

C troop is next to add CH13 but it to needs the audio recorder added as well.

I do not recall where this freq came from but it has arrived. They are now up to 13 channels.

For those using a Control Channel you will have to do nothing, the CC will tune it for you.

853.5125 is licensed as part of the Central system under WNDD575 and WNZZ317.

OK, folks if there has been or there is a change to NJSP Troop B Trunked frequencies or the additional conventional frequencies i.e. New Freq OTA CH13 thread. Do your "home work" or research and please send it in. Posting new information in Forums is OK but their is no guarantee that a RR DB administrator will pick it up in a timely manner
It would be appreciated once the information is verified to make a formal submission to RR data base.

When the additional TRS frequency officially goes in service on the North system, it will be submitted to the database...not a moment sooner. This thread was merely an "FYI" that they were testing the additional frequency so people would know what was going on, it wasn't to take the place of a proper database submission. Also, since this frequency is still listed as part of the Central system, we'll need to eventually verify whether it was removed from that system and transferred to the North system, or if something else altogether is going on. All in good time.
