Hello,
I've installed my icom pcr-2500 on one laptop with windows 11 without audio problems, but I've buy a new asus laptop with windows 11 but on it I don't listen any audio. I've installed the usb audio drivers and the icom control software correctly. I hear only the beeps but no audio comm. I've checked the volume settings on icom control software, windows 11 audio settings comparing with other laptop but the settings appear ok. I don't understand where's the problem, anyone can help me please?

Beeps comes from the Windows program itself and not from 2500. So there's no audio at all from USB. The mic driver are labeled "array" which means there are several microphones to try and mask out background sounds and only focus on the voice in front of the laptop.

It's some very special audio handling with that mic input. Try and find some line level driver selection or a simple mic setup.
Delete the Icom from Windows config of USB drivers and then disconnect the cable and connect again and select something else than a array mic audio driver. You might even have to delete that array mic from windows config and first install the Icom drivers and when everything works with audio to then install and enable the array mic, if you need that feature.

Just because. Right click on the usb audio installer and check if there is not an unblock check box. If so, check it and try again. Perhaps try installing as administrator also.

You have the wrong audio source connected (I can see it in your "Port Setting" configuration window).

You need to go into the Windows sounds setting and find the R2500s audio source.
It shows up in the Windows "Recording" device settings window.
You can open the window (right click on the "speaker icon" that is normally at the bottom right corner of the screen on the Windows desktop.
You can power the R2500 off and on so you can see exactly which one the R2500 is using.
On my system, I renamed the audio device to R2500:\\

You also need double click into the R2500 audio device and set it for 2 channel.
On my system this device defaulted to "1 channel" and I could only hear the main receiver:

Now go back to the R2500s "Port Setting", hit the manual button and select the correct R2500 audio source:

Mine works great and I get audio from both the main and the secondary receivers.
Good luck!

thank you to all for support, I've find the origin of the issue and I've solved it. After numerous checks on windows 11 settings, I've solved by opening the dedicated "realtek audio settings panel" and I've disabled the "microphone noise remover" setting, after this the pcr2500 audio is now udible without problems. The noise remover setting was blocking the radio static noise and consequentially the audio coming from the pcr2500.
