No Forum Back-link at end of message list

At the bottom of the messages in a Forum topic there used to be a link that would take you back to the Message List for that forum, it seems to have disappeared recently. See the below screen shot:

Any idea what happened to it?

I never used it so I don't remember it. Is that screenshot supposed to be before because I don't see what you reference.

That is the current screen shot, the link used to be to the right of the "Posting Rules" box.

I wanted to get the version number in for reference.

I really miss that link. Now I have to scroll back to the top of the page and it is an inconvenience on my netbook.

Sorry for the delay but the Back link was removed to improve performance of the board. It was causing extra load on the servers.

As a suggestion -

Could the "You are here" location links at the top of the page be duplicated at the bottom of the page (maybe between the "Post Quick Reply" / "Go Advanced" buttons and the "<< Previous Thread | Next Thread >>") to facilitate the user's return to the index?

Just hit the "Top" link at the bottom left of the page. (On the link bar where it says "Contact Us," etc.)

I think you meant the bottom right of the page.
