My SDS200 has stopped picking up any signal in the 800 MHz, all other bands are working fine Lo / Hi and UHF also airband.
Did the same search on my 100 and no issue my CC 855.6125 is solid. Both scanners have the latest updates, both have the Waterfall working. Good reception on my Simulcast system!
Is there anything I can check? Thank You

Did service types get turned off? Did you read the 200 into sentinel or Proscan and see if anything jumps out?

When was it last working and have you done anything to the scanner since then?

Try manually entering in the control channel....
(Channel soft key - key in the freq - channel key again - NOT the "E" key...)
Do you get anything then?

Also by chance did the system change the control channel?
Did you check them all that are listed in RR?

Check the filter and try different settings, Normal,Invert,Off. Also check that attenuator are not on and also try IFX On and Off.
If that doesn't work then load the old firmware pre-waterfall and check.

You have checked antenna and any coax you have that nothing have happened to them? Switch antennas if possible.

It was fine on Thursday, when I was pay attention to that EDACS system I noticed no RSSI, turned the 100 on and the signal was there. All services are on, just checked. Did a search in the 800 nothing, did the same search on the 100 and it stops several times in the range I checked 850 to 860.

Tried all Filter setting for me W Invert has worked in the past, the scanner works on all other favorites its only the one 800mhz EDACS sytem with no signal!

Where do I find the info I need to change the software back to pre Waterfall, I did a search but nothing came up for me.
Thank You

Found the firmware page which one do I need to download to roll back the firmware?1.21 and 1.02
after I put them in the firmware folder, what’s next? Do I just turn the scanner off and back on?

No entering the C/C using the soft key I get nothing!

But entering the C/C it does come on when entering manually and the E but now I noticed the Invert filter either one gets no signal, but either Normal or Off it’s fine.

My question now why isn’t it stopping during the custom search? All the other bands work doing the search. Why has the filter setting I have used in the past Wide Invert changed?

Thanks for your suggestion, I will have to wait until Mon. to see if that system is once again working.
I did roll back the firmware and that made no difference, I will give it a few days and see what else happens before I update the firmware to the latest again!

Then its' not a firmware related problem.
The SDR receiver in the scanner are programmable with different parameters and any firmware changes can have it change how it operates and could need new filter settings. But using your old setting and using the old firmware and still have issues with one frequency must then have another source of the problem. Frequencies can be extremely locations sensitive so moving an antenna 1foot, or a car parked outside your window could have a big impact.
