No squelch or volume

So I live in the UK and have my trx-2 for many years. Never updated my firmware before since I bought it. I decided to update my firmware and loaded my scanlist . It all loaded fine in the radio but when I press the sel button and change the mode to DMR I lose both the squelch and volume. Now no sound is coming out of the radio . If I reboot radio it will restore and the same will happen yet again . Have reboot the radio 3 times still no squelch or volume. Can anyone help? Much appreciated

Can anyone help?

The latest firmware require a new EZ-Scan version and installation. It also came with instructions to reset the scanner to clear its memory to reposition the variable settings in memory. If not doing both of those things it will probably make the scanner behave erratically.

The question is how do I reset the scanner to clear its memory ?

HI,

With EZScan:

Open EZScan
Under the FILE menu select "New Configuration"
Go back under FILE and Select "Delete V- Scanner folder" - delete any that are shown
Connect scanner or remove SD card and place in a card reader ( faster)
Under the Scanner/SD card pull down menu select "Copy configuration to scanner/ memory card"

There ya go - reset.
