    We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

    If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Does anyone happen to know the tac channel Freqs. The shipyard fire dept is using when they go aboard ships and to the naval hospital. Thanks, Mike

NNSY Fire freqs

Hi Mike.

Here is what I have as of Feb 2006 for the NNSY Fire in Portsmouth.

Firenet (repeater) Rx 140.700 Mhz, PL 123hz
Tx 139.550 Mhz, PL 123Hz

Fire 2 (portable to portable 143.6750, PL 114.8 HZ Tx & Rx.

NNSY PD/Security is currently operating on a Smartzone system 406.1-420 MHZ.
