North Las Vegas Public Works on SNACC

I picked up two TGID's on the Apex Site that I couldn't find in the 5th Edition of the Southern Nevada Scanner Guide.

35504 = Building Mnt.
35696 = Streets Department

Can anyone else confirm if public works has made the move over to SNACC?

It is no surprise that some of the NLV city departments aside from the PD and FD has moved to the SNACC system as it makes interoperability with other agencies a lot easier than before. The North Las Vegas Municipal Court Marshal is also on the SNACC system under ID 36048. This item has been forwarded to the folks that put out the local scanner guide. It would be nice if they would publish an update sheet like they have done in the past but maybe they are saving it all up for the next edition sometime next year.

Too bad the LVMPD did not want to do things the easy way and for less money but I suspect they don't mind wasting our tax payers funds. Look at all the problems that the Open Sky systems have generated in other jurisdictions. I guess that some people and governmental entities learn the hard way, another victim of high priced fast talking radio system salesmen. So much for my opinion. Happy monitoring to all.
