Yikes! That leaves just Commerce City and some BLS transports around the North Metro area for Northglenn Ambulance. Outside of that, they seem to be a only a secondary or even tertiary choice for many neighboring agencies these days...

Much like most of the other privates with less and less 911 contracts they seem to be barely staying afloat even hear NGA on Denver Olfa's once in a while.

Action Care in the same boat down south no 911 contracts left (except for Security) but they seem to do a pretty good job staying busy with overflow coverage and nursing home contracts.

Saw one of their rigs (w/ crew) camped out at Cunningham's 63 - not sure if they were covering Med63 while I had it out of service...

That's what I thought but I am sure I heard Action Care pages numerous times over the last week or so overnight; I just thought that their normal units were busy so they did some "overflow."

The contract in Aurora does not allow overflow, it's RM or nothing but we're getting way off topic from the original North Metro title of this thread.

Sorry to see that happen. Was a volunteer with Northglenn ambulance in the 80s. We operated ALS services when the FD didn't even respond to medical calls when requested. I guess times have changed.
