at Johnsons corner home of the famos dinnerplate sized cinnimon bun!!!!!!!!!!
we can eat and check out the toys at the CB shack!!!

Not sure about the cinnamon bun. But a nice greasy burger might be good :evil:. I hear you can have them cooked one of three ways. Alittle moo left in it, a little pink and Clay Pigeon :lol:

I would be interested, not up that way much anymore... Plus, truckers involved?? No, really I am glad that the Northern folk are organizing a meet! I will most likely make the next one down here now that I am closer, it is dependent on work though. Have fun guys..

As for time... `Lunner time' sounds pretty good to me. {VB GRIN!}

Oops! Forgot to note that "CB Shop and More" hours on Saturday are 09:00 - 15:00 so anyone who is interested in `prowling' there should consider getting there before rather than after the `get together' if it's a `Lunner time' `get together'. (Since *I* have been contemplating the acquistion of a new `inexpensive' mag-mount or `trunk-edge' mount and/or antenna or two I expect that I'll go there first and then schlep on over to Johnson's Corner for the `get together'. {GRIN!})

At the risk of being a buzz kill, does anyone know anyone that works at Johnsons corner? Not that they would not mind a bunch of us and all our loud scanners being there for a few hours, but it might be worth a heads up right?

Personaly I whear a listen only acoustic ear tube all the time, so I'm the only one that can hear it.

Hmm well At the risk of offending ,I would say we be as mature as we suggested ,the Young man whom went on the ride along and wanted to bring his scanners with him.
I think we can all talk and share info and such without blasting 14 scanners(Digital or otherwise there is no need.
Im thinking since most have there own they know what they do and so on ..........just be a good customer . Have fun but dont be a bother .................................................

and yes I will check with them soon I know a guy whom works out there.

Sorry I did not mean to come across like anyone would be rude or anything like that, I just ment it might be nice to give them a heads up that a paying large group would be coming and taking up a few tables for a few hours. Sorry if that came across wrong. I do think it might be funny to set a few scanners to the CB channel they use to weigh trucks...:lol:
