Just heard on Dulles Tac 1 - Loudoun County Sheriff working w/ Leesburg Police on an incident near 206 Paddock Court Northwest in Leesburg. Currently landing a helicopter near Ida Lee Park. Shots fired mentioned just a moment ago.

So what was it, fireworks?

21:30-Multiple Structure Fires in Spotsylvania County from lighting strikes during the thunderstorms that moved through the area...Mutual Aid from both Stafford and Fredericksburg for the fires and station fill-ins...Multiple trees down in Stafford blocking roadways

Believe this is the house fire we saw off RT7 on the way home. The entire roof was engulfed. I think I remember hearing them say they had it knocked down with few pockets still in the attic. I believe it was contained to the attic. Very quick response probably saved most of the house. I can only imagine having that happen.

Aircraft Accident-Fauquier County-Incident on Fauq 11C-Warrenton Airport.....
1410-reported small aircraft crashed at the end of the runway fully involved
1415-engine 1 on the scene 2 people out of the airplane fully involved...only brush truck can access the airplane...unknown if more people are in the burning airplane

Water Rescue-Stafford County-Incident on Stafford Inc 1 and Inc 2....Falmouth Bridge.....
1440-7 people stranded on a small island water level came up to fast
1510-Stafford is removing another stranded person in the river while Fredericksburg is trying to remove the 7 people from the island...extra medic unit need....checking with state parks making sure they aren't any more incidents

News is now reporting the crash in the area of 9200 Green Meadows Rd and the pilot and a passenger were found in the wreckage.

Loudoun units just dispatched for mutual aid to Beech Mill Rd/Olympia Way. Ops on 41J (TG18384).

Another operation is on 41H (TG18320)

And another in the Great Falls area on 4H (TG17840)

Ops of some sort on 41D (TG18192)


1700- Loudoun now getting dispatched for a water rescue at Rt7/ Algonkian Pkwy. Probably the FFX Co Parkway end.
Yep, Sugarland Run is running over Rt7 by Dranesville.

Anybody know what's going on the Leesburg area that has Rt7 shutdown? Just heard FD talking about them and Leesburg PD having PIOs at a command post.


1841- Sounds like it could be some sort of HAZMAT incident. A state HAZMAT official contacted the comm center to see if any help was needed.
1911- Units, including the bomb squad, are now going back in service.

Winchester - Bank Robbery

Happened a little while ago. I've heard the search was called off without finding the suspect. The VSP helo from Lynchburg was assisting in the search. When I took the picture, they were searching a few culverts behind Gold's Gym.
