Working house fire on Seneca Rd in Fairfax County. Loudoun providing mutual aid. Ops on 4D and 4E.

Stolen car northbound I-95, ramming VSP cars that are pursuing. It was hitting other cars before VSP got involved. Somewhere around the 124mm now. There has just been a wreck and a car flipped. STARS ch17.
0937- Subject now in custody.
Rescue enroute and the entire interstate is shutdown at the 128 mile marker.
Two "totaled" cruisers with airbags deployed. Only the suspect will be transported for injuries.

So a few hours ago there was a wreck involving a few vehicles on Rt 7 in Loudoun by the NOVA campus. On CBS they showed the news chopper at the scene and mentioned a hit and run and pedestrians.
I was listening to the incident but never noticed any mention of pedestrians, but I was hearing a lot about a driver and possibly a passenger fleeing one car, a car registered to a Brethour Ct address not far away. K9 was tracking.
So right now the accident reconstruction unit is still on the scene taking measurements. A washdown was just put on hold too. Earlier they mentioned one vehicle to the tow yard and the other to the impound. I can't imagine accident reconstruction going on this long unless there was a fatality. Nothing in the news yet. Take that back.

If you're in Northern VA, a federal agency in Chantilly is going to be having an active shooter response exercise from 9a-noon. Fairfax County Fire/Rescue and Police are participating in this exercise.
I don't know what talkgroups are being used (unfortunately I didn't bring my scanner with me today).
So if you hear some stuff that sounds like this, it's likely just the training exercise and not a real incident.

Crash with rollover on eastbound Rt7 near Hillsboro Rd in Purcellville. Road is shutdown. Fairfax-1 and another helo inbound for medevacs. Adult driver is an unconscious male with a depressed skull fracture.

Tyson's Corner AMC 16 Movie Theater Plastic Soda Bottle Bombs.
Around 12:10 am 5/18 initial report of possible gunfire in movie theater.
Lots of responding units, PD, FD, Rescue, HazMat, Fire Investigators, VSP requested as well by FFX. All movies shut down and house lights turned on.
Turned out to be possibly 2 plastic soda bottle bombs set off in 2 theaters. Heard one was in Godzilla movie,
Did not hear report of any injuries, lots of investigation going on.
2 hours in and still some activity on scene.

Possible shooting south of Leesburg, but to me it's sounding like it could be a "swatting" prank call.
Skype phone number transferred from Leesburg PD. 15 year-old caller claiming he shot his mother with an AR-15 and that people are coming to harm him. Claims he may shoot himself.
Trying to confirm with neighbors if a 15y/o even lives there.
2307- Dispatcher just now checking land records to get name of residents. I did that 10 minutes ago.
2323- Dispatch now on the phone with the mother who says she is completely fine and in the residence.

FCPS Custodian Totally Naked @ School!
So I had to post this, but it happened a few nights ago.
I have Fairfax County Public Schools programmed in one of my scanners. School Security Dispatch, Kilmer Middle School at about 7 pm, female Principal states Asian male Custodian is totally naked walking the halls!
FCPS Security was in route along with FCPD.
Wonder what this guys explanation was going to be? But with the Union, he is probably still working there or has just been transferred to a different school.
Last year had a friend's daughter was at her FCPS High School. Her iPhone was stolen after normal school hours in the girls locker room. Parents had FindMyiPhone and tracked the phone. It showed it was still at the school property, but near the loading dock, so it was assumed the phone was still somewhere in the locker room. They drove to the school to check again, a Custodian was in the locker room and asked if he had seen a phone, of course the answer was "No". They assumed the triangulation was just off a bit and maybe it was in the school Lost and Found.
A few hours later, the phone is in a residential neighborhood in Sterling. Long of the short, turned out to be the FCPS Custodian that stole the phone had finally driven home at the end of his shift. This was after about 18 months of kids loosing money and other things in the locker rooms and other classrooms where backpacks were stored for after school activities. There was another Custodian that was charged with these thefts, but it appears these guys are a bit whacko and still into rummaging through kids backpacks.
Crazy stuff and these people look after the facilities many of our kids attend??

Sad, very sad. I was raised in Alexandria and have lived (unfortunately, do not like it here) in Pittsburgh. I graduated T.C Williams '77 then went on active duty military. We had good custodians and considered them as much of the school as we did the teachers and other support staff. They looked out for us and I often think back on them.

Loudoun is trying to work with MSP Trooper3 for something. May be related to something I heard hours ago where they were pinging a cell phone in order to find someone.
They're having comm issues. First they tried patching the helo into Dulles Tac 1. That worked a little, but at times the helo wasn't coming through.
Then they tried using 8Tac91. I could hear dispatch. Dispatch could hear the helo and LCSO unit, the helo and ground units weren't hearing each other.
Dispatch is going to relay for now on 8Tac91. 851.5125 PL 156.7
The incident is on Dutchman's Creek Rd in Lovettsville.

VSP involved pursuit of black motorcycle on Dale Blvd. Got on I-95 Northbound from dale. PWC pd were notified. VSP called off the pursuit shortly after

K9 Dog alerted to a vehicle at the main gate entrance to Quantico MCB.
Quantico has closed main gate entrance and is evacuating homes/businesses in the area. Have asked for assistance from Prince William County PD to help with evacuations on non-government properties near the base. Multiple PWCPD units enroute as well as a watch commander. Lots of encrypted traffic on PMO dispatch and PMO alternate talkgroups.

What's happening in Fauquier County involving blood hounds? Hear bits of it on Loudoun TG2912 which I had long ago tied to Fauquier Co. I've got the Fauquier stream up too now. A unit called Tac4 asked the dispatcher about contacting the VA EOC in Richmond.
VSP is involved too.

Near Sideburn Road and New Guinea Road.
Sounded like a teenager. Talk about a helicopter bring brought in.
Then it turned into a passenger on the train with a medical condition. Likely due to the pedestrian being hit by the train?
