Also, TG 05-001 has been heard as a patch in the Las Vegas area and was carrying Reno NHP traffic. Any of the three NHP dispatch centers (Elko, Las Vegas, and Reno) can dispatch for any area of the State.

FYI - There is no NHP dispatch center in Reno anymore

Been hearing 05-101 here in Winnemucca, Elko/Ely units.....Hear units in the Winnemucca area every now and then.

I do know that I hear NHP on the low band freqs more than on the state system.

Your not hearing Nevada Highway Patrol on low band.

All of the 42Mhz gear is long gone never to return.:lol:

Maybe a few on VHF on rare occassions but 99% of the traffic is on the NSRS system.

You are right....Its VHF that I hear them on.

Its funny, cause most of the Ely/Elko units all use the system, while the Battle Mountain and Winnemucca units use the VHF....

Like I said, I have just started hearing units on I-80 locally using the state system.
