Numerous TFR’s issued around Flathead Lake area

Numerous TFR’s issued for wildland fires around the Flathead Lake area. Most are north of Missoula, and one still to the south.
Air Attack should be on following freqs:
12 nm East of Hamilton 124.1 am (Bowles)
30 nm SE of Kalispell 127.25 am
7 nm West of Ronan 127.25 am
12 nm NW of Polson 126.15 am (Niarada)
Colt fire near Seeley Lake still on 118.225 am

National Flight following 168.65 nfm
Air Guard. 168.625 nfm
Smokejumpers. 168.55 nfm

Lots of activity in area on some of the flight tracking programs.
C-130, MD-87, DC-10, Avro’s, Bae-146, Air Tractors, Dromaders, numerous helos, plus all the Air Atack and Lead planes.

22 nm NorthWest of Kalispell air attack should be on 118.275 am.

Add 2 more TFR’s, this time on East side of continental divide.
13 nm West of Three Forks 126.075 am, saw DC-10 do late drop on this fire via Flightradar24. Returned to Helena.
30 nm NW of Helena, near Rogers Pass, 134.225 am.
Lots of smaller fires around my area, have been able to control or extinguish with IA (initial attack) mostly
helicopters and hand crews, engines.

Another TFR was issued today for the Big Knife fire, 13 nm North of Missoula, 132.125 am.

New TFR issued today Sunday, August 20 for 1 nm SouthEast of Plains (River Road East Fire) this is fast growing, quickly
spreading fire. Air attack should be on 127.225 am.
