NYCOMCO System Oddity

Hi all,

I was in Katonah recently and noticed an oddity with the NYCOMCO MOTOTRBO System.

451.4375 is reporting as the control channel for Site 23 with Color Code 12 and Neighboring Sites 2, 8, 19, 22.


At the same location, 451.4875 has a much stronger signal, but also reporting a control channel for Site 23 but with different color code (15) and different neighboring sites set (2, 9, 13, 19, 20)



Perhaps a site misconfiguration?

451.4375 with CC 12 is Site 23, Jackie Jones. That is 100% confirmed, I'm listening to the new HELP South TG on it as I type this.

451.5875 (you typed .4875) with CC 15 is Site 15, Mahopac.

I suspect an issue with your setup, perhaps your dongle getting overloaded by RF. I see quite a lot of errors in your screenshot. Perhaps try using FMPx instead of piping the signal in from SDR#.

Ive Always Stuck to using FMP with DSD ive never piped my audio over from another SDR Program. Never Had any issues using FMP Whatever.

Site 23 Jackie Jones comes in great for me. I also do recive Mahopac aswell. They are close in frequencies but 2 separate sites.

thanks, I will try another setup and confirm if it was indeed poor audio piping issue.
