Can anyone verify that the FTOs in this Wiki page are still valid? If not, what are they? I'm probably going to be at the MSFA Convention at some point next week and want to test the G5 on their VHF (BTW, I really *hate* their alert tone - it sounds so unprofessional, lol.)

I’m going to say they look correct as of the last time I was there a few years ago. But I won’t be back down until August to verify.
Which one sounds unprofessional? I’ve always liked they way they did things compared to the disaster I have to listen to where I am. It’s been a few years since I was able to get there so maybe I missed some changes.

The FTO's are correct. I have them all in my pager and they have worked this year so far.

You must be referring to that long similar to a warble tone at the end of tones when dispatching certain fire calls.

I programmed both but did not get an alert, but then again I was only around for a few hours. I don't know how often they alert.

I’m in OC today. The OC Silent Alarm tone alerted for what was announced as a sprinkler alarm at Hatland. Does anyone know how to program a LongA tone in Unications?

I’ve done it for my G1 but it’s been years. I’d have to look it up in the programming. I can’t remember if it was similar to the Minitors and it was a 0 for the A and the tone cake for the B or if it had a certain setting that was just one value.

Is their anyone who is familiar with the 2-Tone Paging Codes/Frequencies for the OCVFD.
For instance; years ago (such as when OCVFD dispatched on Low Band 46.360 MHz.; the 'Main' Fire Dispatch Tone was (from memory) 767.4 hz to 1047.1 hz. (of course their were other tones too such as for the house sirens, etc.). When I was down the past few times; I can tell the tone(s) have changed; and would like to reprogram the primary/main fire dispatch tone (and if known; siren tone) into my pager .... but unsure what it is.
If anyone is familiar and can help; that would be tremendously awesome. Thanks Kindly. :)
