Everyone pay special attention when you can over the next 36-48 hours. With the weather conditions we are currently under there is and will be a lot more traffic than what we've become accustomed too. Especially from MDOT. This may be a good chance to catch some channel names.

New ID numbers
ID: 44809 Heard it the past few days with reference to "animal lady waiting in lobby" I believe this to be Ridgeland animal control with the ID number looking similar to that of the other Ridgeland ID numbers and a ID 64800......sounds encrypted MAYBE Hinds county siren activation? Sounds similar to the siren activation data stream Rankin county uses. also found a NEW frequency: 773.784375 site 2-008 Raymond.

Franklin Co Sheriff is using TG ID: 15 for primary dispatch purposes. A while back, I reported TG 15 as being Miss. Forestry, and it was then, but it clearly is now assigned to Franklin Co. SO. Was quite active on the Roxie tower earlier today.

Interesting, and glad to hear from ya. I wonder if there's still a cache of post Katrina FEMA radios out there being passed around for "testing" purposes. hehe Like you, I too have at least loosely connected more than one of those 2 digit groups to MFC in the past. It's been quite a while since I've gotten a peep on any of them though.
They're still burning up the airwaves on VHF around here though. Been several VERY busy days this year so far.

The following TG's are regularly starting to affiliate with Natchez south (tower 140): 10005, 10110, 10111, 10120, 10130, 10501, 10710, 12202, 12427, 13200, 13204, 13207, 21100, 21102, 21103, 21401, 22000, 22005 & 22301. Think most of them are probably showing up elsewhere. Just thought I would post them FYI. This is based on a 30 review of Pro96Com.

Looks like bidness is picking up over your way. Been hearing several tests and dead air key ups on some of those over this way too. Especially the 21xxx and 22xxx groups. Thanks for the update.

Quite possible. They may have had to add a repeater there to get the quality of serivice they needed at CMCF. It should be fairly easy to notice if a matching pair of whips have been added if someone can go by that way and have a look. Can check for the CC with no antenna and using the attenuator on your scanner too if you're portable.
