Are you using software to program the scanner or are you doing it manually through the keypad on the radio? If you are using WIN500 send me your file and I will take a look at it for you. You should have all sorts of activity out there for OSP on the Summit and Stark towers.

Okay, did you import the data from the RR web site or did you add it yourself? If you added it yourself be sure you have the Trunk System object defined as MOT 800/900. Also, try this - enable the Group Wildcard so that any activity on the tower(s) will show up on the scanner - this will help at least prove that the towers are set up correctly. What towers do you have programmed? Can you verify that they are being received by the scanner (signal strength indication on the scanner)?

Try this -

Add the following 2 control channel freqs to a new trunked system object (MOT 800/900) and be sure control channel trunking is turned on. Then, add only the Group Wildcard to a scan group and associated with that trunk group system. By doing this you should hear any activity present on the towers.

867.80000
867.83750

Also, in the trunk system object, be sure to set it to "stationary" and force it to check all control channels in every scan pass.

You should not need to do anything special in the Extended Settings menu for it to work.

1) Did you confirm the trunked system object for MARCS is set up for MOT 800/900?
2) Do you have the Group Wildcard object defined in a scan group and linked to the trunked system object set up for MARCS?

I am sure it is probably something that is being overlooked. If you used WIN500 I would make you a test file and send it to you. Are you a Premium member of RR? If so, you should be able to download the data directly from the web site to your ARC500 app which may help solve the problem as well.

Just for fun, if you hit the "tune" button, enter one of the control channel freqs, and hit enter do you hear the data stream?

I'm not sure if you've loaded the Nimisila Res frequencies, but I find I hear quite a bit from that site.
