So I have my Omni X antenna mounted on my roof on a 7ft tri pod for a total height of about 20-25ft
No real obstacles in the way
Everything comes in great except most of my 860's freq (police especially 861-862)
One tower is 24km north and one is 12km south
The only real way to describe what its doing is watching my 10 second video clips
If the background of some of the clips my PSR 500 with GRE 800hz antenna can be heard receiving the full 5 bars and everything crystal clear sitting in my living room window, meanwhile the PSR 600 with rooftop omni is acting like seen in videos
I have it run with a 50ft piece of LMR240
Some told me it was too light so I have a 50ft run of LMR400 on the way to try
All connections seem good and antenna looks good
When I hook up my PSR500 to the cable/antenna for the 600, the same thing basically takes place
I have tried global on and off and ATT on and off
With global on there is very little difference and when I turn ATT on I do not receive anything
I also live out in the sticks so interference is nill
I tried the NOAA station which receives full strength with ATT off
I turned ATT on and it knocked me down to 1 bar
How can I show my video clips?...
