Is ONCOR/TXU still EDACS Narrowband 4800 baud system? Reciving strong signal from the Midland system on the PSR-500, but UniTrunker will not decode the datachannel.

Can you listen to the cc and tell the difference between EDACS Narrow and P25?
Oncor is still EDACS Narrow in my area but they could be switching to P25 Phase II.

Now that you mention the datachannel sound, seems to me there is a diffence, but it has been a long time since I listen to the CC. I will get my PSR 800 and check.

The site is still EDACS Narrow and the PSR-500 with Unitrunker was decoding the CC until after lunch today. Now the PSR-500 is not showing any of the CC informaiton and this flashes on the screen about every minute VC: 1sTGID-51184.

I have never used a PSR-500 so I don't know what that means.
Are you sure the control channel isn't rotating to one that is not in the database?
