DC Fire & EMS Opens its Doors! - Citywide Open House to Draw Thousands
(Washington, DC) – DC Fire & EMS will host its first-ever citywide
Open House Sunday, October 14th. The event is designed to bring
neighbors into their local firehouses and meet their first responders.
“What a great way for us to get out and get connected to our
communities,” said Fire & EMS Chief Dennis L. Rubin. “We are very
proud of the services we deliver, and we want our customers to know us
personally and give us an opportunity to know them.”
Each of the city’s 33 fire stations and the fire boat will host
residents and visitors from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM on Sunday.
Refreshments will be provided by Krispy Kreme Donuts and Starbucks!
