Media barracks has been using Opensky for a short while. Snow storm tonight and now they're back on VHF...so much for high tech

I didn't have much time to listen the past couple days, but I caught some comms from both Media (on C) and Hamburg or Reading (on E) this morning.

Quite a a few Media comms on TAC-1 last night. I believe the VHF will turn into the informal chit-chat radio primarily.

Punxsutawney PSP was also using the old frequencies tonight.
They were trying to disguise who they were by calling themselves a 6 number
Local police is a 9 number.
911 - is chief Johnson - Brockway
912 - second in command
922 - Brookville
932 - Renoldsville ( I think )
Punxsy boro police still uses the 155.730 frequency
I hope it snows for a week straight.

The other time they go back to using the 400 mhz frequencies is when they have to talk to the ambulance or the local police.
They had a suicide attempt last night and had to respond and they were on the 454.475 mhz and came in loud and clear.

Makes you wonder how many frequencies they can talk on in their mobiles these days.
