What would the channel bandwidth be for this repeater 12.5 or 25kHz?

410.86250 416.31250 R 123.0 PL VR 01 Vehicular Repeater

12.5

I tend to use NFM also compared to just regular FM. Better sound out of it that way. When I listen to it. Which isn't often because of the local Beat in town.

Oh, and the OPP in my part of Zone 2 refer that frequency as VR02 not VR01 as most commonly like to refer it to.

What would you like to know Bandwidth or Channel steps ? You added a extra 0 to 410.8625. The channel steps are 12.5 But they can use 6.25 down the road. The new Bandwidth maximum (now for urban areas and comming soon the the rest Canada) is 2.5 khz. Thats why you may have noticed that most courier and cab companies have newer radios. The first real test for the 6.25 channel steps will be the 22 new GMRS channels spaced at 6.25 khz.

Uh, he just wants to know whether to program one specific channel in his receiver as FM or NFM (or 25 kHz vs 12.5 kHz if he has a real radio)

You're mixing up frequency deviation with bandwidth.

For 2.5kHz deviation, the bandwidth is 11kHz (or 12.5kHz for some
reason as indicated by TAFL). For 5kHz deviation, bandwidth is 16kHz.
