I know that Optoelectronics makes frequency counters and RF test equipment. They also offer various antennas for sale. Has anyone had any experience with their BB85 antenna?

They state: "Broadband antenna, Frequency range 100MHz - 2GHz, Rubber duck, 10 inches long, Great for use in the 400MHz / 800MHz / 900MHz ranges, Works well in VHF ranges"

The link is

They're asking $49.00 for it. Has anyone used it? Is it worth the money? Just curious.

Thank you.

Hi All,

Sorry to revive the dead, but I was wondering the same thing, especially now that I can get a new one for $18. Any thoughts or experience would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Is there such a thing as re-reviving the dead? LOL

I happened to check Optoelectronics web site tonight, and the BB85 is up to $79.00 [!!!] now [sheesh!]

Hey Rich, did you purchase the BB85 for $18.00, and if so, how is the BB85?

If it is/was worth it, are anymore available at that price, and where?
