Ottawa Area scanning

Hey all,

I am thinking of getting back into scanning. My question is: since Ottawa as transferred over to their new system, can all agencies still be monitored?

Yes! Ottawa Has transitioned to a Digital P25 system. You will need a P25 capable scanner to monitor them. Police are fully encrypted along with the some EMS Special Ops and some City Services. But OFS, Works, Transit and security are still monitorable! Enjoy!
