The WACN of C51B0, is used at several military installations in the USA. Could the signal becoming across Lake Erie from the USA?

cc of 387.95 in the entire database yields only 4 systems with 1 only having WACN of C51B0 and thats in KY.

I was receiving better to the northwest this morning and this evening, yet during the day I was receiving better than normal to the northeast. I would consider today to have been a better-than-normal propagation day for me, here in Indiana. When I get back to my desk I'll look at those freqs, but I don't recognize them.

I believe there is a John Glenn NASA place in Cleveland, OH that has a federal radio system, but I don't recall what the freqs are.

Cross reference the VC listed, unless they're the same for all 4 sites.

Did a quick vc search and did not see the ones the op mentioned on any WACN of C51B0

Those freqs are in the 400's.

MCB Quantico in is in VA not GA (and I correctly see VA in where I look in the database). Also NAC codes are not tones.
Anyway, the WACN C51B0 decodes as 1US. (For those who do not know, the web site below is your friend though some WACN codes do not follow the algorithm (particularly it is best to try with and without the Sys_ID which is often ignored in the algorithm). Also, NASA generally does not use DOD 380-400 MHz P25 spectrum unless on a military base.

In regards to possible facilities, everyone should have a copy of the 4.18MB pdf at
A possibility may be the Defense Contract Management Command at Bratenahl, Ohio (old former Nike site)

Thank you everyone for the responses. The CC's for neighbour sites are....5.5 cc 380.4750 7.7 cc 385.6250
and 8.8 cc 388.4500. Some of the talk groups are 16509 16515 16528 16704 16721 16722 16823 17073
17020 17006 17012 16549 17005 16501.
The signal has been in now for about 11 hours and have logged 107 radio ids. Unfortunately most of the audio is distorted 16515 is E but all the rest appear to be in the clear
Hope this answers the ?'s and will post any other info I find.
Thanks again al
Dave

C51B0 01A is the new Fort Drum phase 2 system. Sites 5.5, 6.6 and 7.7 all have activity.
