so the counties around me have all gone digital i noticed that one specific county the radio traffic is not as loud as the other counties i currently use a unication g3 and bk kng p400 to monitor these groups is there a setting on either radio that i can adjust to make it louder?

I can't speak to the BK, but I can tell you that the only setting on the G3 to adjust volume is the volume control knob. Audio gain control or some other way to adjust volume levels specific to sites or systems has been on the wish list for many G owners.
