I am trying to setup Proscan with my SDS100 on my 2019 MacBook Pro running Parallels16 and Xfinity Xfi.
I can view and listen fine on my Windows 10 virtual machine. I have Port forwarding 5000 open on my xfi Router, Advance security turned off Xfinity and windows Firewall off. Can not for the life of me figure how to access my scanner from my iphone using webserver. Please any help woud be appreciated.

The Router Port Forwarding needs 3 things:
1. Port of the server. It sounds like you have that right.
2. The IP address of the server.
3. Use TCP.

Use Open Port Check Tool -- Verify Port Forwarding on Your Router to test that the Router Port Forwarding is setup correctly. The Web Server has to be running.
If it still doesn't work then provide a screenshot of the Router Port Forwarding.

In the Web Server tab is a button "Get My IP" Click that and see if that is the IP address.

my ip is
outside xx.xx.xxx.xxx
Local 10.0.0.129
I believe my problem is I can not figure how to get ports open on my VM windows. Whenever I do port check on my Mac it says port 5000 closed on xx.xx.xxx.xxx

Whenever I do a port check my webserver has to be on and started,Correct?

Yes. The Web Server has to be running.
Use the local address.

I use Parallels and Proscan.

In Parallels, I give my VM its own IP address. This is the IP address I use when setting up port forwarding on my router.

Change the virtual network adapter in parallels from NAT to bridged. Then your windows install will get it's own local IP address on your network, like your Mac already has.

The first 4 lines of the parallels knowledge base I linked tell you that external access to to VMs is disabled by default, and how to fix it.

Thanks for ALL your help guys😏 I finally gave up and dug out my old lenovo laptop with windows 10 on it. Configured Proscan on it and now everything is working as expected.I can now listen live on my Iphone when home or away without taking my scanner with me.
Probably a better setup anyway to have a pc dedicated to just the scanner.
Now is there a way to play audio without hitting play button and login as super user automatically when connecting to webserver?
