Parma Hts PD?

I stopped monitoring the Parma P25 system last month to focus on the new Cuyahoga County MARCS deployment. This weekend I turned Parma P25 back on and noticed a lack of Parma Hts PD traffic.

The only Parma Hts PD traffic that I am hearing is the Dispatch. I don't hear any Patrol Car or Portable traffic. So I'm hearing half of a conversation. Has anyone else noticed this?

Any chance Parma Hts PD went back to SWRCN? SWRCN reception is very spotty from my location.

Any info would be appreciated.

Parma Heights PD talkgroups have not been active on SWRCN over the last few days.

However while monitoring Parma Project 25 system with Unitrunker decoding control channel output from the PRO-197 I'm seeing some unusual activity. Seeing some strange Radio IDs (9999996) on the TGs at alternating with the listenable PHPD dispatcher traffic. Also seeing something similar with Brooklyn PD. I need to check it out closer but this may something that Control Channel decoding forum people could help out with.

Back when Parma P25 was doing early testing, Private ID 9999995 appeared and then later 9999996 appeared. During the early testing there were many reports of dead zones (no reception areas). As the testing continued 9999995 started to appear on a periodic basis. Later 9999996 appeared, again on a periodic basis.

My best (uneducated guess) is that both ID's are for controllers getting updates. Parma P25 has a three tower Simulcast system. The main controller most likely handles the original tower located near the Police Headquarters. The 999999X controllers are for the remote towers (one at Pleasant Valley and State, the other in Beachwood).

Any how, I just lock out both 999999X ID's.

If you find and definitive information, let me know. That still leaves me with, what is the status of Parma Hts PD.
