Drove an hour in a heavy snowstorm, found out I was the only one testing and all three VE's showed up in this insane snow to test me. I missed one question and PASSED THE GENERAL EXAM!!!!

Congratulations! I'm glad that the VEs showed up so that it wasn't a dangerous trip in vain. You should have gotten extra credit for the effort!

I will pass the Extra Class in March. So my first QSO was this evening on 20 meters with W7FLY a special event station in Washington state on my Yaesu FT-840 and a dipole I on my patio. WOW WOW WOW. This is so cool!
