Select (NEW) on (LCD SCREEN) by pressing (F1) button on scanner keypad, then select (TGRP) on (LCD SCREEN) by pressing (F1) button on scanner keypad. Push (down arrow) on scanner keypad, scroll down to (TSYS) push (SEL) button in the middle of arrows on scanner keypad. Push right arrow on scanner keypad until you see (MOT VHF/UHF) leave it on that.
Next, scroll down again using down arrow button on scanner keypad. Scroll all the way down until you see (Frequencies
Push (SEL), on (Ch 01 enter 159.39) press done by pressing (F1) on scanner keypad, again as mentioned above.
Now scroll down to next channel (Chn 02) enter 155.255 select done again.
Scroll down to next channel (Chn 03) enter 156.09 select done again. Next select (save) again on keypad.
Now scroll all the way down to until you see (Tables custom push (SEL) on keypad. Next you will see (table 01 push (SEL) on keypad again. Enter in (Lo chan) 380 and select done. On (Hi chan) enter 435 again select done. Next scroll down to (Offset enter 380 select done again. Next scroll down to (BASE enter 155.415 select done. Next scroll down to (Step enter 15.0 select done again then save.
Next scroll down to (Table 02 press (SEL) on the (Lo Chan enter 436 select done. (Hi chan) enter 453 select done again. Next scroll down to (Offset enter 436 select done. Next scroll down to(Base enter 157.2 select done. Next scroll down to (Step enter 12.5 select done, and then save.
Next scroll down to (Table 03 push (SEL) enter(L0 chan 454 select done. Scroll down to (Hi Chan enter 759 select done. Next scroll down to (Offset enter 454 select done. Next scroll down to (Base enter 157.47 select done. Next scroll down to (Step enter 15.0 push F1 to save slowly repeatedly until your back to the (LCD SCREEN) that reads as follows: (Select object type to create (TGRP) (CONV) (SRCH), and finally push scan on scanner keypad.
(NOTE) You should see on the (LCD SCREEN) the (CAPITAL letter) (T) and (G) next to the capital (S) with dashes, the dashes indicate the signal strength.
(NOTE again) If you don’t see the Capital (T) on the (LCD SCREEN) you’re currently not in the trunked mode and you’ll probably have to start all over again. (NOTE) these instructions are for the first time programming (out of the box.)
