Peoria Crime?

Seems to be alot over a short period of time. I know their's alot of listenrs out that way, but no updates. Chicago isn't the only bad place in the state, seems like the suburbs and other areas are just as bad, but not reported. I'd like to see others post their city/village happenings when you are listening...i'm sure others would agree.

From what I've read I tend to agree! We are having our moments here as well where crime and carnage is over the top! Today on I-74...car vs. turkey...in the eastbound lanes.Yes,I did hear this today.:lol:

A little delayed but since that big night of shootings, PPD created a crime task force with lots of overtime despite looming layoffs of 15+ Officers. Anyways, at that time Peoria was on track for it's most deadly homicide season in 30+ years. Now that the task force has been created, their has been no homicides and only 3 to 5 shootings in the last 6 weeks or so. Before that, Peoria was at about 15 homicides and at least 2-5 shootings a week. The Task Force has done its job LOL.
