I assume the State Patrol will be using these frequencies and the WISCOM TRS since they have been testing the past few weeks.

151.2800 136.5 MARC

151.4600 146.2 SP3

460.4000 146.2 Repeater 1 or UHF

151.3700 100.0 STAR 1

There is also a STAR 2 that I was unable to find when the radio techs said they were going to that channel for testing.

For some unknown reason my PSR-600 is deaf on WISCOM's Chilton and Haven towers in trunking mode, but has no problem receiving in conventional mode. The strange thing about this is the PSR-600 had no problems receiving Washington County when they were testing in trunking mode.

I assume the Sheboygan County Sheriff will again be using LAW 3 (14736) and LAW 4 (14768) on the SCTRS.

Whistling Straits operations can be heard on 451.4000 306 DPL and 452.6250 261 DPL.

I found STAR 2 on 151.4450 100.0 this morning.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff is using LAW 1 (14672) and LAW 2 (14704) for traffic control and security.

The State Patrol Command Post is located next to the Haven tower at N7563 HWY 42, between I-43 and Howards Grove.

What is STAR2? Is this a State Patrol Special Channel...? It's not listed anywhere in the database for Wisconsin except under WISCOM.

Star 1 & 2

STAR 1 & 2 appear to be special events channels.

Any idea if these channels were repeated or simplex? They are new ones to me... wondering if they belong to WI Emergency Mgmt or State Patrol?

No, they are simplex special channels. They are State Patrol channels.

STAR 1 and STAR 2 are Suitcase TActical Repeater channels shared among state agencies. They are portable repeater channels for use as-needed in the state.

Thx Stateboy, I figured STAR was short for something... At the EAA this year, Airport fire made mention of going to their "WEM" radios, but never heard them on any of the common introp frequencies. I am guessing this may be what they were using.

WEM channels are different than the STAR channels. Check the DB for more info.
