I have a Uniden BCD325P2 and trying to set up Phoenix pd. I live in the El Mirage area and wondering what sites I should use?

Simulcast A is the primary one for Phoenix PD and you should be able to receive in the El Mirage area, more so with a half decent antenna setup. I’ve seen some Phoenix city traffic on other sites but I can’t say it is consistent.

Additionally, if it was me, and the situation allows for it, I would probably throw a directional up on a mast to tune into some of the other simulcasts further out as well.

Now I have all the sites enabled and not receiving anything. I guess I can eliminate some sites and see what happens. I have a discone up about 30 feet. Finally I received Phoenix, but not much traffic. I'm using Freescan, maybe I'll leave the scanner on with virtual control with logging and see what sites I receive and eliminate the rest. Now all that I'm receiving is from Simulcast G: WEST VALLEY. So far nothing on Simulcast A.
