Pike County, Wayne County PA

I am looking for some help in finding things to listen to in this area. I will be travelling to the Lackawaxen area later in the week for work and hope to avoid boredom with my scanner. I have been there before and not had much success finding things to listen to.

Also, I guess since Sullivan County NY is so close- any ideas for that side of the river would also be helpful.

Been there and done that! Have not had much success with listening in that area and thought I might consult with some local experts before my next trip.

Granted Lackawaxen is down in a valley, however, you should be able to listen to the major Pike Co. and Sullivan Co. freqs along with PSP and NYSP. Lackawaxen and Shohola Twps. each have frequencies but I can guarantee you the area is not a hotbed of activity.

What kind of scanner are you using??

I have P96 and P97 files for that area. I have family up there and listen with great success while visiting. Worst case I can send you a listing of the freqs I monitor. PM me with your email address and I'll hook you up!!
