The GRE PSR-800 seems to decode TDMA on a few DC area systems.

Not correct, the PSR800 works.

Actually, you're incorrect. The PSR-800 works with Motorola X2-TDMA. It has not yet been confirmed that it will work with P25 Phase II TDMA. That is straight from GRE's engineers. So before anyone goes around telling people that their $450 purchase of a PSR-800 will guarantee them Phase II capability, it would be wise to check out the facts first.

Of course that doesn't mean the PSR-800 won't be able to decode Phase II, either as-is or with a firmware update, but I sure as heck wouldn't go around spreading false hope and causing people to prematurely spend $450 based on probability.
