had a news story today at Noon, about the A$$ Hole that was broadcasting on his CB,"I got my pink pantes on etc." I hope they remove every piece of equipment from his home and fine him out his Wazoo. Email kfor and tell them your story, on this Idiot, I did.

Well I sure hope they confiscate all of his equipment, but It's like I told you all before, there is way more than one of these MORONS doing that.
It, the "I got my..." deal is an add-on card for Chicken Band radio's

They are just now finding this moron! He was broadcasting at least since 1994 or 1995. I remember his exact words were "I got my night gown on, I got my pretty pink panties on, and I'm ready for bed" LMAO! Good ol CB days in Tulsa!

Bam bam audio jam? Then there's that infamous group known as the "Maldroppers" that plaugues the area. :)

I'm not a CB guy, so someone explain exactly what these guys were doing and how it was illegal, so illegal they "tracked them down" and can confiscate their equipment. I always thought you could do, and or say whatever you wanted with a cb??

They were transmitting hundreds, if not thousands of watts. legally, CB is limited to 4 watts on AM. I just know of the bam-bam guy from a truck driver I used to work with.. the guy would key up over anyone trying to talk on channel 19 and just say "BAM!!!" kinda like the toothpaste commerical

I would NEVER intentionally accuse employees of a federal bureaucracy of lacking in efficiency — parish the thought. But I'm seriously curious why flagrant offenders like these get away with such foolishness for so long. Tracking down a motor mouth with a 1000W transmitter can't be very difficult. And I can't believe the FCC didn't get thousands of complaints over the last ten plus years. Is it a man power problem? Even if the FCC only had one black van that's responsible for the entire country it seems they shouldn't have taken them more than 10 years to shut him down.

There was a ham (yes, licensed, not on the unregulated CB) that was maliciously interfering with Coast Guard rescue operations and the Highway Patrol in L.A., CA - he'd even been convicted of interfering with public safety comms and had his license revoked, and yet it STILL took close to 5 years to get him arrested when he started doing it again.

Partly FCC manpower, and partly the courts that didn't understand why this was a big deal.

Hams police their own, so the FCC knew about him day one, but it took months to go "inspect" his station, and more months to get a warrant and arrest him. Then he was out on bail for over a year before they brought him to trial.

Then again, now he's doing 7 years, and he's in his 60's, so....

BTW, this guy was a certifiable nut case.

Finding is not the problem - the ham community can zero in on them in a few minutes. It's getting law enforcement or the FCC to do anything about it. All the FCC wants is us to send a tape of them, and they'll "get around to it". Local LEO says they don't have jurisdiction (even though they do, they just don't know the rules).

That's another great example of how the government always has the manpower to collect revenue for licensing fees but consistently comes up short on service after the sale. Like I said, I would NEVER intentionally accuse employees of a federal bureaucracy of lacking in efficiency.
