Placer County SO currently has the following dispatch channels listed:

160.545 MHz - Dispatch West (simulcast with P25 system)
161.505 MHz - Dispatch East
P25 TG 2001 - West Dispatch

I have two questions:

1) Is traffic patched between east and west (is the same traffic broadcast on 160.545 and 161.505)?

2) Now that there's a Tahoe Basin Zone (Site 3) on the P25 system, is 161.505 simulcast with the P25 system? And if so, with TG 2001 or a different TG?

The systems are not patched. The West trunked sysytem serves as far east as Soda Springs (Signal Peak east site). Tahoe is on the east conventional system. I haven't heard the proposed Placer Tahoe area trunking system fully functional yet. That could change any time soon.

Have you done a FCC database search? There are many new or updated licenses for Placer county.
