TRX-2: Playback search

When I press the up arrow during playback, the screen go's blank. I have to unhook and turn scanner back on. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

What model Whistler? Is this on the radio itself or on the PC software?

TRX2 and it's on the radio itself

Have you tried it using the EZ Scan software?

Are you using the stock SanDisk card or did you change it to a different brand?

Stock San disk card and I formatted card again and everything seems to be working as it should. Thanks

Every time a check my TRX-2 recorded files, once a week, there's at least one file that are corrupt. It's possible that the scanner playback function cannot handle files that refuse to be read. I always take out the SD card and copy all files to my PC and use Universal Scanner Audio Player that quickly can show me if it has any detected digital data or subtones that indicates a real conversation. I've tested different SD card sizes and speed and brands and the corrupt file issues happens to all of them.
