No idea about Hopkins but you can check the database link at the top of the screen for frequencies and talkgroup IDs.

Cut N Paste!

Matt,
Looking at your area, Hopkins appears to be on the state's ARMER TRS. That was one of the preloaded systems when I received my 996. I doubt that has changed. The talkgroups will probably need some tweaking, to tailor it to your personal preference, and add any others you want. Most of the preloads have the main dispatch IDs (frequencies if a conventional system instead of trunked) at the time the file was first produced, so you'll want to pull up the system in the database & review it against what the file shows in your software. There may also have been site changes, so double check the control channel frequencies if it does not receive quite right. That system should be on Quick Key 38.

Don't forget that a good BCD396T file can also get you started. It won't have the multi-site data of a 996 file, but for a single site, it will work very well. I used my 396 files to 'jump start' the programming when I ordered the 996.
