Anyone have a recommendation for a plug and play GPS receiver for the BCD436HP?

I'd rather not screw around with finding a connector and wiring one up if I don't have to.

Thanks in advance

I went with the GPSK BC-SGPS Universal GPS unit. It looks like a lot of cables but I couldn’t find any other real solution. It cut way back on all this called mods.
Hope it helps.

Jon modded a 436HP with an internal GPS for me about three years ago. I've been very pleased with it. Turn on the unit, click on the GPS switch (make sure you have the GPS setting right in the menu; for me it's 4800 baud), lay it face down so it has direct access to the sky, and 30 seconds later it's ready to scan the local services types you specified.

I looked at his service for both the GPS and battery, and while I'm interested, I prefer to forgo mods until the warranty has expired.

I have a external GPS made by Jon for my 436. It's a little over 2" square and works great. It's rechargeable with a mini USB receptacle. It plugs directly into the scanner's GPS plug.
