Does anybody know what Plumas County Sheriff is doing currently with 156.0900mhz?

Today early 156.0900mhz pl167.9 was weak but understandable from Beckwourth Peak here in Douglas County,Nv, that is how it always comes in here.

At about 20:00hrs the signal was booming in here using a different repeater with no pl or dpl that could be decoded.

It sounded like Dpl but would not decode, also repeater sounded more like a link with no repeater lag time to drop out, it was instant.

Beckwourth is the only repeater i can pick up from Plumas county here in Nv, and always has white noise.

This repeater had almost none.

Now it is about 22:00hrs and it appears that they are now back to the way it was prior, and decoding pl167.9 again.

Also i looked in the FCC Database and found nothing that jumped out at me.

Iam going to go back to FCC license datbase and try again.

Now they are Xmitting on this booming signal repeater again with no pl or dpl decode.

Maybe a new site?

Are they updating system?

I have looked in various places, but have not found any info on Plumas County updating their radio system or adding new site.

Lincoln? Probably not

Lincoln does use the 156.0900, with a DPL, but the likeyhood that he was able to hear it in Northern Nevada is highly unlikely.

Lincoln PD is a good call

I've gone camping in Plumas county numerous times and every time I am there I have ZERO problems in picking up Lincoln PD.
