Possible moving to Lake Co Fl

I am possibily looking to move to Lake Co Fl and was wondering about scanner and ham radio activity, laws, ordances ects. Any help in this area would be very helpful.

Igo near Lake County often and lots of scanner action. Putting in a new 800 TRS now. Go to
the database, Flotida--lake county for many frequrncies. Also withi range of many 800 TRS systems in neighboring counties. Good Luck..

Just to let you know. Lake Co. Sheriff is currently operation two main channels that are APCO25 digital. Other channels are analog currently.

A digital scanner is pretty well required in Fl. especially if you are going to buy one. Keep in mind the new 700 band will be coming.
