Poway Fire Dispatch

Consistantly hearing Poway Fire dispatched on 7A Admin, and NOT on 7B SDFDSP overnights. It's also human voice, not robot, and I think it might be simulcast on that "simulcast" talkgroup as well, or maybe that is just used for San Pasqual?

So if you want to hear fire dispatches for Poway, you need to listen to 7A.

Not sure why, however for quite a while Poway has been voice dispatched. Never really noticed that it was on 7A not 7B dispatch -- however, when they have mutual aide from SDFR the computer voice dispatcher will announce the SDFR unit into Poway then Poway units will be dispatched by human voice for the Poway and mutual aide units.

I have heard that in parts of the system, SDFR still has Poway referred in their old unit numbers beginning with 50 and that has probably confused the CAD considering they have SDFR 51 and CV 51. 51 will still come up by accident in voice dispatches of major incidents.

SDFD doesn't dispatch simulcast on 7A any more either BTW.

Maybe the City of Poway hasn't agreed to robo dispatch...yet? I noticed this too and this was my thought.
