Preprogrammed PRO-2096

I have a programmed PRO-2096 and wonder if it can the channels and frequencies can be downloaded via a cable into a computer. I would like to save time instead of copying down each channels information by hand. Thanks

I may not have been clear enough. I want to retrieve the existing programmed frequencies, not program the radio at this time.

Use ARC-96 to read your radio, and save the profile.

Under the Scanner tab in ARC96, click on Download from Scanner and save the file. That will put all of the programming into your computer.

After you download it and have it saved, copy it to a USB stick or CD. The worst part of my 40 years working in computers was having to tell people there was no way to economically recover lost files when their HD crashed.
