Priority function

While scanning freqs I progrmmed for a Motorola type 2 SmartZone, do I want the Priority function On? My scanner selects the first channel in each bank to be the Priority channel but I can select any channel I wish to be the Priority channel in each bank. Do I want the control channel to be the Priority channel? Or is it best to turn Off the Priority function??

if you set your proirity scan on you will find the audio to be broken up, when someone is talking, you don't need to set priority on anything as it will scan fine the normal way
