Just wondering if lowering this will "tighten" the squelch so it won't break open so much on noisy signals?
Case in point, my PRO-43 doesn't open on noisy signals when the squelch in set at a certain point. I noticed the PRO-106 does this quite a bit, especially on the airbands.
Sensitivity on the airbands seems good on the PRO-106, but having to constantly hit the arrow up (or adjust the squelch higher) to scan/search the bands in a real pain.
I did reduce the noise threshold, so I'll have to see how this works.
I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced the same issues?
