Sorry for not spelling Military correctly.

I was using the search Aircraft mode and came across this.

Frequency:380.42500 and showed it as P25: 300 Is this possibly P25NAC since it shows the 3 digit# 300

Thats the first time I actually caught that frequency. It was loud and clear. Obviously military since they were using alpha tango, etc.
Talking about Sector. Sorry I'm not that familiar with miltary stuff.
Does that belong to Selfridge?
Or is this the Justice Department?

The frequency above is Conventional.

The "military air" band has been partially reallocated for government land mobile P25 systems. 380-400 MHz still has a few AM mode users, but they are being moved off.

Selfridge A.N.G. Base Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
As Dave mentioned that band is being re-allocated for Military LMR
Looks like you found some new info, now to ID the different channels and then submit to the RRDB

It's simple.

Patience
Note Taking
and careful listening to each frequency
These are some of the call signs I heard while doing this.
Just got to figure what frequencies they belong or so.
Blue Maverick
Razor
Sidewinder
Mach 1
Green 1
Jet 1
Badger
Tiger 6
Tiger 4
Tiger 1
Jet 3
Hog 1
Tanker 5
Tanker 2
Jet 4
Reaper

This Freq 380.42500 P25:300 is Security/Police I believe. (Selfridge)

AM 311.0000 I heard QuarterBack Control to Cockpit or Pilot not sure though. Need time of take off from Alpena (Selfridge)
I'll try to listen to more of them tomorrow and try to see what I can figure out.

311.000 is QUARTERBACK Control, for the KC-135 group at Selfridge, 171st ARS. JEEP, & MOTOWN are the call signs for the aircraft. Sometimes they will also use REACH, & CLEAN.
228.125 is a good A/A freq for them when it's a flight of 2 or more.

How do these LMR channels work? There doesn't seem to be a control channel for this system?
Some freqs I've found while out by Selfridge.

380.4250 P-25,
380.5750 P-25,
380.7250 P-25, Quarterback control.
380.7875 P-25, Jet 1, & Yankee.
384.9375 P-25,
390.0000 P-25, Hawg 1 & Razor 8.
390.7250 P-25, Quarterback control & Mobil.

Seems like what ever freq is open you'll hear them on it. It doesn't seem like any freq is assigned to any one in particular. I can only monitor this system when I'm near Selfridge.

This was in the wiki:
380 Mhz LMR Band: The frequencies in the range between 380 and 399.9 mhz are slowly being converted over to a mix of APCO P25 trunking systems, Aeronautical operations and other modes. This is happening at all military and federal installations nationwide. Currently only the Uniden BCD396T handheld, and the BCD996T desktop scanners are capable of tracking these systems. Other digital trunktrackers may listen to these frequencies in a conventional mode, but will not track them. The Pro-96 and Pro-2096 may listen on these frequencies conventionally, and use the PRO96Com utility to read their control channel when the system is utilizing a 9600 baud control channel.

So I guess my PRO 106 will only pickup the conventional mode and give the P25 NAC code but will not be able to pick up the control channel.

You should be able to find the Control channel, if it's there., otherwise it's a multi-channel conventional system [highly unlikely] maybe a road-trip closer to find it might be in order. ;)
