This is my first post to this forum although I have been monitoring it for some time. I ordered a Pro-106 today and thanks your post, I used the $25 off coupon. The only hitch with the order was the shipping. The Pro-106 ships free but with the half-off promotion on the programming cable (which I ordered) the $6.05 standard shipping charge was added at checkout. That wasn't a big deal, but I called customer service and Radio Shack will credit my account for the shipping once they ship the scanner. The rep at Radio Shack was extremely pleasant.

Thanks for the post..I bought one locally on Saturday at full price. Went back to store today and got me a $100 refund. Im happy.

Crap I wish I had known about the coupon. I got mine yesterday for $320 OTD. That coupon would have taken some of the sting out of it.

Anyway, I like the scanner. I had a Pro-96 for quite a while and then sold it for some reason. I immediately regretted it. After that last round of horrible storms I vowed to get a new 106 since I could not hear anything on my issued XTS5000 due to being in the basement!
